Every year various competitions took place to discover the animal talents of the year. Joya, a little Chihuahua, performed an elegant ballet dance to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” with her trainer Karin Baumann.
When the dog twirled and danced really very gracefully she won many hearts. Their video went viral and they became real internet stars. Though they didn’t win any awards they went back very proud. They completed their dancing goal and aqcuired a new fan club.
The fact that Joya and Karin did not win the Heelwork to Music portion of the competition shows the level of talent that appears at the Crufts dog show every year.
The competitors found this idea very inspirational and maybe the next year someone will perform a dance under the fantastic music of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.”
