A mother couldn’t understand what was happening after giving birth to her child since the atmosphere was so quiet. She was dreading the thought of saying something to break the awkward silence.
Eliza Jamkochian Bahneman, 36, and her husband Erik, 41, were overjoyed to learn they were expecting a child in 2018 after nine months of trying.
Bahneman announced her pregnancy to a few of her friends, her sister, and her sister-in-law since she was so excited. Their due dates were close together and they were all pregnant at the same time. The expecting mother eagerly anticipated the arrival of her unborn child as a surprise.
The infant girl did make the decision to exit her mother’s womb, but she did so a month sooner than anticipated. In October 2018, Isabella, also referred to as “Bella,” was born.
This baby was delivered weighing 5 1/2 pounds after 12 hours of labor. But what was supposed to be a joyful moment turned out to be depressing.
Bahneman was startled when she heard whispering and saw how still and dark the space was. She recalled the situation and said:
“Why isn’t anyone saying thank you? Why does my husband seem so frightened and lost? Why won’t my mother give me a look?
Bella was then brought to the NICU, or neonatal critical care unit. The infant was discovered to have Treacher Collins, a rare genetic condition, after undergoing numerous testing and inspections. This prevents the face’s bones from developing properly.
Isabella was born with a variety of issues as a result, including hearing loss and a small mouth. So began a difficult journey that included numerous operations and hurried trips to the hospital for crises.
Bella had to have numerous treatments of various kinds. This includes speech therapy, occupational therapy, and music instruction for her hearing impairment.
The mother wants to continue educating people about Treacher Collins condition and spreading awareness about it. In general, Bahneman seeks to persuade others to be kind to those who are in this circumstance. After all, when you meet someone who is both exceptional and attractive, this is the natural thing to do.
