Brutus, the Pit Bull, had been abandoned on the streets for quite some time. People either scared or disliked him, but they never wanted to love him, he realized. ilovemydogsomuch writes
Despite being a friendly dog, Brutus was forced to live a lonely life where he had to do his best to stay away from humans.
His horrible existence had taken its toll on him, and he yearned to be rescued. Thankfully, someone informed “Hope For Paws” of a “vicious” Pit Bull prowling in the area, and Brutus’ luck began to turn!
A rescuer approaches Brutus carefully in this video to see whether he becomes hostile. The dog is initially perplexed, but he soon realizes she is there to help him. As he stretches his neck and begs the woman to place the rescue collar on him, his countenance brightens! On the way to the shelter, he hops into her car and continues to embrace and kiss his saviors. It’s little surprise that the rescuers dubbed it the “easiest Pit Bull rescue ever.”
Over the next few weeks, Brutus assured himself that there was no catch in this rescue and his street nightmare had really ended. This Pit Bull is such a kind and affectionate soul and it’s a real pity that he spent so much time without being loved. Keep smiling, Brutus!
