This sad tale takes place in a country of Greece and tells about young cubs who got discarded in a garbage bin. We don’t know why they were dumped. Maybe they were sick, but that’s not a good enough reason to get rid of dogs. People on the island of Salamina don’t seem to like dogs, because you can always find puppies in trash and try to save them. The main reason why there are so many unwanted dogs on Salamina is that many people came to the island to get rid of their dogs.
Sad to say, there are thousands of lost dogs in Salamina. These dogs come from shepherds, hunters, strays, dogs that were left behind, and dogs that were chained. Here, you can find almost everything.
We need to find a way to stop those mixed-breed puppies from begging for food outside. Many of us wanted to adopt these puppies, but they think they’re Chihuahuas.
