Amal Andari believed the puppy in Beirut, Lebanon, needed water, so she decided to give some to it when she was driving by.
The puppy was clearly in need of immediate assistance when Amal and her friend approached her since they could see she had a laceration on her head.
She was taken to a veterinarian, where an X-ray revealed that she had been shot many times with a pellet pistol. Maybe some young people just wanted to “have fun.” Additionally, she had parvovirus.
The dog, now known as Bondok, appeared to battle for life, but she is now healthy and looking for a loving home.
