Lizzo is embracing the thongkini, which is currently the most popular swimwear style. The “Special” singer and founder of Yitty posted images on Instagram on Sunday from her idyllic beach holiday, in which she can be seen lying on a stunning white-sand beach and in front of an outdoor shower. She posed for beautiful photographs while donning the season’s most popular color, a Barbiecore-inspired fuchsia bikini set, and responding to Beyoncé’s mention of Lizzo in her “Break My Soul” remix with Madonna.
The singer wore a ribbed set from Good American, which included a traditional triangle-shaped top and high-cut thong bikini bottoms with delicate knots.
It was a somewhat original styling choice to layer the hot-pink suit over Chanel fishnet stockings embellished with flower patterns, a Chanel pearl chain worn as a belt, and classic shield sunglasses with pink frames.
Lizzo has a history of experimenting with fashion; most recently, she appeared on the September cover of Elle UK while covered head to toe in a Balenciaga caution-tape bodysuit.
