Wally The kitten was two months old when he was given a second chance at life by Baby Kitten Rescue. He was discovered with severe injuries, most likely caused by a car collision.

“He was the kindest, gentlest child from day one. He had obviously endured so much “Baby Kitten Rescue founder Caroline Grace shared with Love Meow.

“He never hissed or struck anyone. As soon as he realized he was safe, he began purring nonstop upon seeing me.”

Wally grew increasingly frustrated as he was forced to drag his bowed front leg. “His injured leg had lost all nerve function, necessitating amputation.”

Soon after undergoing the surgery, he began to truly flourish as a three-legged boy.

“He was eating, walking around, and even digging in the litter box like he had never done before,” Caroline reported to Love Meow.

“He felt immediate relief at no longer having to drag that leg around.”

Wally wore a cute sweater to protect his incision as he continued to recover. He wore it like a champ as he purred loudly and joyfully rolled around on the floor.

Wally was able to move more freely and play to his heart’s content after two weeks. He had the opportunity to meet Chester (the resident cat) and explore the home.

As he navigated the house, Wally’s confidence grew as a result of encouragement and unwavering affection. When he received a visitor, the former foster kitten Otter, he was thrilled and aspired to be as courageous as his friend.

“Otter and Wally became fast friends. It was so adorable to observe them playing and Wally coming out of his shell even further.”

Once Wally had fully recovered, he began his search for the ideal residence. Caroline hoped to find the deserving boy a quiet, stable, and loving home with a family who understood his needs and was willing to give him time, patience, and compassion.

I desired for him to go to a home with a cat companion to play with and boost his confidence.

The following week, Beth and John traveled from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to meet Wally.

Caroline told Love Meow, “They were so patient and gentle with him and stayed for over 2.5 hours, allowing Wally to get to know them and gaining his trust.”

“Wally ended up purring in their laps as he received face rubs and felt so happy and at ease.”

That’s when Wally realized he had found his forever family. Beth and John are committed to providing Wally with the love and happiness he deserves.

Wally gained not only two attentive parents, but also two feline sisters, one of whom is a tripod.

“We found him the ideal permanent home. I am overjoyed that Wally will live a life filled with safety, happiness, and love.”
