According to Mochi’s owner, Rylee Boland, Mochi is affectionate and playful. A month has passed since Boland created Mochi’s Instagram account. However, Mochi has nearly 7,000 followers already.
You will understand what Boland means when you scroll through Mochi’s feed. Mochi enjoys cuddling with Boland and is always endearing. In addition, as a puppy, Mochi is very curious and playful.
When Mochi was playing in Boland’s backyard one day, she spotted a Monarch butterfly with orange wings. Mochi immediately approached the butterfly, sat still, and calmly observed it.
Boland was perplexed by the events, as Mochi is typically very active and ought to have scared away the butterfly. To Boland’s surprise, Mochi maintained a safe distance, as if she understood a butterfly’s fragility.
French Bulldogs are typically intelligent and perceptive, and Mochi’s actions demonstrate that she is also kind and empathetic. Mochi and her butterfly friend stayed like that for 15 minutes, with Mochi just sniffing and observing her little friend.
Before flying away, the butterfly sat for a moment on Mochi’s paw.
