Missing toddler reunited with dad after being found guarded by protective stray dog

Thanks to a neighbor and a stray dog that stayed with him, Kh’amorion Taylor, a toddler, safely made it home.

Thursday morning was spent by Taylor alone wandering the streets of a neighborhood in north St. Louis. The young youngster was spotted by a neighbor who was out walking her dogs that morning.

Kh’amorion was dressed in pajamas, but what caught everyone’s attention was a stray pit bull who appeared to be guarding him.

The neighbor told Fox 2 that the man “looked well cared for, was extremely neat, and very clean; he just didn’t have the shoes on.”

The next few hours were spent by the neighbor, who wished to remain unnamed, looking for the boy’s house and parents.

“I pounded on doors all along the street. Nobody opened the doors when she knocked, and when someone did, they all pretended not to know the youngster.

She continued to walk for hours until Taylor’s father came upon his son’s Instagram photo.

He arrived in a hurry to pick up his son. The boy’s parents are fortunate that a good person was there for their youngster despite the lack of information regarding how the boy got thus far.

She explained, “Because it takes a village and children are especially naive.

It’s crucial that we keep together, support one another, and resume the activities that our grandparents and their neighborhood used to engage in, she continued. To create a sense of oneness.

Young Kh’amorion could never forget the dog. He kept shouting “puppy,” as though he wanted to take the dog home with him. Although the St. Louis police considered adopting the dog, they decided against it.

The family of the Taylor boy was reunited with him. And the dog soon found a family of its own!

Pit bulls aren’t harmful animals.

Only a few days old, Peri the chicken was adopted by Christa Hubbard and her family. Up until six months later, when she had an eye infection, the chicken was in good health. Christa was told by the doctors that the chicken would inevitably become blind.

Taj, the family’s pit dog, assisted the family in making the necessary changes to improve Peri’s quality of life.

Peri soon lost her sight, and the dog sensed something was wrong. Taj took up the role of the blind chicken’s protector and guardian.

The following eight years saw Taj and Peri as each other’s closest friends. A seeing-eye dog belonged to the chicken. Something you wouldn’t typically read. Taj lost his battle with cancer in July of last year.

To give Peri new canine buddies, the Hubbards went ahead and adopted two pit bull puppies.

One of the pit bulls, Gracie, adopted the position of Peri’s guardian. Gracie’s presence filled the void Taj had left in Peri’s heart. A dog and a chicken become the best of friends may seem implausible. But dogs are fantastic for this reason.
