Rush is a pit bull that is kind and loving but has never had a family of his own.
The dog has had a difficult existence being homeless and alone, but when the SICSA Pet Adoption Center took him in, it seemed as though he might finally be able to find a family.
Rush was so lovely and polite, and he knew he was a good boy; he would undoubtedly find an adoptive family quickly.
But Rush quickly discovered that it wasn’t that simple.
Rush was never chosen despite other dogs being adopted.
Many people believe he’s a “bad dog” since he’s a pit bull. People believe he is violent and dangerous, yet everyone who has interacted with him realizes how incorrect they are.
Yet it might be challenging to remember who you really are when everyone thinks you’re a nasty dog.
Rush started to worry that he was unlovable, that he would always be viewed as a nasty dog, and that he would never be adopted.
But Rush made the decision to persist.
He made the decision that he would show everyone that he was a decent youngster and deserving of adoption.
