At some point in our lives, everyone has fantasized about meeting a famous person.
Perhaps for this reason, we attend concerts or break into filming locations. Some of us even fantasized of sharing an unguarded moment with them, such as spotting them in a restaurant, a park, or on an aircraft.
However, a mother had a memorable interaction with a celebrity. Additionally, there was no meet-cute scene involved. Although a little humiliating, it gave her a fresh perspective on the celebrity.
The sole parent’s tire burst when she was driving in Tennessee.
The rubber gave out as she was making her way to her parents’ home. Fortunately, she maintained control of the vehicle and parked it securely.
A mother of two, Courtney Potts, found herself stranded. She opted to wait for assistance since she was too afraid to continue driving and didn’t want anything worse to happen to her wheel.
Thank goodness, someone saw what happened to her car. A pickup truck likewise stopped and parked on the side of the road shortly after the first vehicle.
Off the truck, a man dashed in the direction of Potts.
“He said, “Hey, I nearly struck you! We need to get around this curve because this road is pretty awful, Potts stated. I recognized his voice and thought, “Okay, this is happening!”
She was correct, too. The pickup truck’s driver was well-known. Luke Bryan, the Entertainer of the Year, was there.
Potts struggled to keep his composure.
She said that she didn’t want the singer to feel uncomfortable in an interview with local news source WKRN. She added that she doesn’t react irrationally anytime she sees a star.
Bryan came into Potts while en route to go hunting with his kids.
Then the country singer knelt down and turned the wheel of the vehicle.
Potts’ tool eventually failed at one point. But Bryan was kind enough to try fixing the woman’s car with his own tools. Potts finally took out her phone at this time to record the event, no matter how potentially embarrassing she felt it could be.
Potts was struck by Bryan’s moral integrity.
Bryan “looked like anybody else that would have pulled over,” according to her, and he didn’t act like a famous person. He was only a concerned driver assisting another driver at the time.
Around thirty minutes later, Potts’ automobile was once again roadworthy.
Potts then used the opportunity to pose for a photo with Bryan and say that he was welcome to join her party at any time.
Potts was quite appreciative, especially considering that Bryan is not compelled to assist her. After thereafter, she shared the video on social media, where it received tens of thousands of likes and more than a million views.
She told the news source, “There are folks I haven’t spoken to in years who have shared it.” “I was simply blown away that it went viral, and it’s one of those things that makes you wonder, ‘What just happened?'”
