32 years ago, one of Hollywood’s most well-known films made its debut. In addition to drawing a sizable audience, the film “Pretty Woman” was able to win multiple awards, including Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.
Despite the fact that the film’s cast may have been very different, director Harry Marshal gave the script to Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. The actor, however, did not readily or quickly concur.
After reading the script, Richard opted against taking part because he found it to be too obscene. However, Gere changed his mind as soon as the two main characters met, which was arranged by the director Harry Marshal. As the evening went on, they had a lengthy talk, and when Gere came home, he found a note in his pocket that read, “Say yes, please.
These three words changed Gere’s viewpoint, and the outcome is what is visible. A great cast in a superb movie.
