One of Jack Black’s most famous movies is School of Rock, a film that everybody and their mother adores. Among the fans of School of Rock is Abraham. Sadly, Abraham has been diagnosed with a rare mitochondrial disease known as Pearson syndrome. To make matters worse, Abraham is only 15 years old.
Jack and Abraham met at a fundraiser, and there was an immediate connection.
The event, the TrinityKids Care fundraiser, was the perfect meeting place for the two. Abraham has been a fan of Jack Black for some time, and his mother decided to organize something special.
During their time at the fundraiser, she arranged for Jack to come and say hello. Only the actor did more than that – he sang the teen a song too!
When they met, Jack Black serenaded Abraham with the School of Rock song “In the End of Time”.
Jack and Abraham met, and after a few seconds, Jack Black got down and broke into song! For Abraham, it was one of the best days of his life.
