Giant dog melts hearts caring for over 200 little ducklings

Seeing animals of different species get along is always endearing. A dog is one animal that does this frequently.

These animals are renowned for their ability to get along with a variety of species, both large and little.

Dogs are well renowned for getting along with other animals.

Dogs have been man’s closest buddy for a very long time for a reason! Dogs play the roles of companion, guardian, worker, and buddy.

Despite the fact that they now largely focus on the “friend” side of things, dogs were originally used as tools in the workplace.

Dogs served as a vital tool and work partner for many humans.

Dogs still play key roles in hunting, herding, and shepherding today.

Since dogs have been bred for such a long time, it was crucial that they could be taught how to behave around other animals.

Short version: Dogs were bred to be taught appropriate behavior near various animal types.

Knowing this, we can conclude that the conflict between cats and dogs is primarily one of socialization!

In this video, such potential animal relationship is clearly seen.

Ducklings and dogs! Perhaps there is a match made in heaven here.

This video contains nearly too much cuteness to handle. The dog in the video who gets to enjoy the delight of being around more than 200 ducklings at once is named Dug.

Dug feels right at home around the tiny fluff puffs.

Dug’s compassionate nature is immediately apparent.

The ducklings are seen in the beginning of the film gathering under a few heat lights to stay warm. When Dug enters the room, he doesn’t jump out of his skin or panic; instead, he moves calmly into the area where the birds are.

Eventually, Dug sits down close to the ducklings and keeps an eye on them.

Due to his protective nature, Dug is extremely cautious around ducklings. If you’ve ever seen a dog cuddle up to a baby or a puppy, you know how loving dogs of all sizes can be.

The larger the dog, it usually seems like the kinder they are.

Dug is one of those “teddy bear dogs” who is adept at taking care of smaller, more delicate animals. Even when lying down, he takes care not to squash any of the tiny birds.

The young ducklings eventually start to climb all over their canine pal.

The ducks finally get used to stepping on their new furry friend after some adjustment time!

As Dug calmly sits and observes the ducklings playing, they just walk on their feet, legs, and all over.

It’s very sweet to see Dug hanging out with all of his duckling friends and enjoying himself. What a lovely bunch.
