After being born into this world, Puddin had no understanding of love. She suffered from an eye infection as a result of her owners’ carelessness, which made her blind.
Thankfully, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas was able to rescue her from her Texas residence and take her in (SPCA).
However, by that point, she was totally blind and required the removal of both eyes. 22-year-old Cory Gonzales fell in love with her despite her disabilities.
“Of all things, I fell in love with Puddin’s ears the moment I saw her online. I returned and took her in the day after I first met her. We are both quite grateful to have found each other, Gonzales added.
Puddin is still a very content dog despite losing her sight.
She always has her nose in the air and is quite affectionate.
This is due to the fact that she relies primarily on her sense of smell to compensate for her lack of vision.
She constantly puts everything in her mouth and enjoys playing fetch with bells and balls.
Puddin’s father expressed his admiration for her development.
She has made great progress in using her sense of scent to play, run, and discover her toys. even forbid herself from striking objects. Gonzales added, “It’s very great to witness. “Puddin has created her own small system within the house to help keep herself secure. She reminds me of a goldfish because when her whiskers or ears lightly brush across something, she whips around as if she’s going to hit it.
Gonzales claims to have taught Pudding the expression “look out” as well.
She therefore recognizes when she hears a sound that she is about to encounter something.
She still needs to improve on a few things, like how to act around men and loud noises.
Puddin has made many canine pals thanks to her tenacity. but is most in love with her dad.
Puddin has fans in addition to her canine pals.
