Donkey mom melts 2 million hearts reuniting with her baby after 1 week apart from each other

Nobody wants to be removed from their mother or child.

The bond between child and parent, especially with the mother, is stronger than we could even fathom. During their formative years, a child would always look for their mother and rely on them for their needs, care, and support.

Taking a child away from their mother is heartbreaking.

There would be a lot of crying and moping, and you would know that things weren’t the same. They yearn for their mother and would go to any lengths to have them returned. Reuniting them is always beautiful to see since it shows how much they care for one another.

It was necessary for this mother donkey and her youngster to part ways.

Mary Poppins and her horse Colonel Sanders were saved by several people, but they only did it because they couldn’t bring themselves to do anything else. But because they lacked the necessary supplies for the donkeys, they had to let someone else take care of them.

The initial rescuers claimed that while other rescuers were taking Mary Poppins, Colonel Sanders was left behind.

Since the poor newborn donkey had nowhere else to go, Janine Guido of Speranza Animal Rescue brought him to their refuge in Pennsylvania. Colonel’s body language made it clear that he was unfamiliar with anything.

He was quiet and a little shy.

He was unfamiliar with all the farm animals, and he was unsure of how to treat them. He kept his distance from the other animals, which limited his engagement with them. Colonel was yelling the majority of the time, so he obviously missed his mother.

Janine received a call from the original rescuers a week later informing her that no one had come to pick up Mary Poppins from them.

She was fully aware of what to do. Mary wasn’t picked up, according to Janine, and there is a significant reason why. In order for her to be reunited with her kid, she drove back to the rescuers and picked her up. They had a long trip to Speranza, but they were determined to make it.

When they got at the property, Mary was oblivious to what was going to take place.

She was being led by Janine, who kept her on a leash, to the field, where the Colonel was waiting behind a fence. Mary took a while to continue walking to the location she was being brought to.

The scene became emotional when the mother and son realized they were both there.

Colonel was sobbing for his mother as he paced back and forth. Mary slowly walked up to her kid and did the same. The reunion of the two of them brought such joy.

Colonel’s mood was significantly altered by the reunion as well!

He began to interact and play extensively with other farm animals. But whenever he has the chance, he remains by his mother’s side. He appeared to be afraid of losing her once more. Mary, on the other hand, takes care of her son and sometimes just lets him be. At least the mother and son are aware of their unbreakable bond.
