When the boat sank off the coast of Queensland the brave dog swam as much as needed to find someone to turn to for help.
When people noticed a german Shepherd named Heidi in the open waters they knew that somewhere around would have probably been her owner.
Soon the rescuers found her owner. The fisherman was hanging on his boat and thought that their boat sank over 11 hours ago. So the brave dog swam for 11 hours to bring help to her owner.
Everyone was proud of the dog and praised her. Senior Sergeant Jay Bairstow from Brisbane Water warned people how dangerous it could be in the water and how cautious the seaman should stay not to have bad endings.
