The military specialist Vance McFarland waited for this moment for three years.
Like all other army specialists, Vance also had a dog companion. It was Ikar, a Czech Shepherd who had been trained to be a tactical explosive detection dog.
When they returned the loving friends had to separate. Ikar was taken away from Vance and returned to Afghanistan. Soon Ikar ended up in a kennel until kind people intervened to help the dog to unite with his owner.
Mission K9 Rescue and the US Battle Dogs Organization discovered the dog and did their best to help the friends meet again. After 3 years passed Vance was impatiently waiting for his lovely dog.
