When the adorable kitten’s adoptive mother Maria Lloret first saw him, she knew she had to name him after the famous singer David Bowie, who shared the same multicolored eyes as the beautiful kitten.
Bowie the cat’s dual eye color is caused by a condition called heterochromia, whereas David Bowie’s mismatched eyes were caused by a condition called anisocoria, in which his pupils differed in size.
