After months apart, a devoted sister and a blind cow are reunited.

You may not be aware, but cows have best pals. Research from the University of Northampton indicates that cows form friendships only with other cows.

When they are near their individual, they feel significantly less worried and will naturally turn back toward them if they become separated. For cows raised together, this is especially true.

Hope and Love were each other’s people in the eyes of the cows.

They shared a unique kinship because they had spent the first eight years of their lives together.

This is particularly true given that Hope was born blind. Love decided to act as her “seeing eye” companion as a result.

A factory dairy farm is where Hope and Love were created.

Later, Hope was bought by a family that intended to keep and breed her for their needs in dairy products.

However, they eventually found out that she was blind and bought Love, Hope’s sister. Hope was left without a place to live. Thankfully, she was able to find safety on the farm of the Sale Ranch Sanctuary in Temecula, California.

But that meant that the once-inseparable two cows were now apart. Additionally, Hope lost her seeing-eye cow as a result of this.

When Hope first arrived at the farm, she was undoubtedly under pressure.

However, the rest of the farm’s creatures greatly contributed to her feeling at ease.

They would groom one another while seated in a circle, sharing meals and sleeping together.

Hope quickly began to feel at ease in this unfamiliar environment.

According to Jen at Sale Ranch Sanctuary, “during the last eight months, she has matured into a happy, confident little girl.”

Hope and Love hadn’t seen one another in a grueling eight months.

But ultimately the girls could be reconciled, and Love would move in with her sister to live on the farm.

Jen was ecstatic to see Hope reunited with her closest friend and her seeing eye cow.

Before we even unpacked her, Hope was aware that her sister was there, Jen remarked. “Love mooed as soon as we arrived, and Hope recognized that moo.”

The two cows began to lick and nuzzle each other right away. In particular, Hope was overjoyed to meet her sibling.

“The girls remembered each other without a doubt. Hope was ecstatic. The friendship they had throughout their first eight months of life was quite remarkable. Therefore, this is truly unique,” Jen stated. “I genuinely believe that their friendship will resurface and become better and stronger than ever.”

Hope and Love were still inseparable two months after they got back together.

These young women won’t ever be split apart again. I am so happy that we were able to bring them back together so they can be together forever, and they have the rest of their lives to grow old together, Jen added.
