A young artist, nine years old, trades beautiful animal paintings for supplies for animal shelters.

Russian boy Andrei Ivanov, age 9, made the decision to start working at a dog rescue. To feed all the animals there, at least 46 pounds of porridge would be required (approximately 105).

How is a volunteer so young able to assist? The young child is a skilled painter, and he might even sell his creations to raise money for toys or a new phone for himself. Instead, in exchange for food and work, Andrei transports animal food and medications to the shelter.

He desired to aid them and somehow take care of them. The boy’s mother supported him, and the two of them came up with the idea for the “Dog’s brush” project. Based on the pet’s photos and the owner’s descriptions, Andrei creates original illustrations of pets.

Unexpectedly, orders started to come in from people who weren’t Russian animal lovers. Order processing is currently so delayed that new ones temporarily cannot be accepted.

A significant amount of resources have been gathered without any outside help. This is the perfect illustration of how someone’s preciseness and goal can alter the course of history.
