Everyone was startled to learn the truth when the bride was pushed forcefully by the groom during the dance and collapsed to the ground.
It seemed like a fairy tale day.
On the open terrace of a small restaurant outside the city, patrons had congregated. The bride approached the husband wearing a long-train lace dress. He gave her a sweet, sincere glance.
The vows of love and loyalty, the guests’ clapping, and the cascade of white petals made the event ideal. Everyone entered the dining hall after the congrats. The guests praised the couple’s beauty, laughed, and relished the dinner.
It was time for the first dance. The bride and groom entered the middle of the hall to the tune of a beautiful song.
But all of a sudden, the unthinkable occurred. The bride screamed in shock as she fell to the ground after the groom gave her a violent and forceful shove. There was a deathly quiet as the visitors gasped and the music stopped. Someone let out a startled yell, supposing that the groom had lost his mind or that a brawl had broken out.
The guests were just surprised to learn the truth about what had truly transpired
Everyone’s gaze shifted downwards as they noticed a black scorpion with its tail raised menacingly on the gleaming parquet floor, exactly where the bride had been standing just a moment earlier.

The bride sat on the floor, gasping for air, and shuddered in terror as she saw the monstrous thing. Only then did everyone realize that the groom had pushed her to save her after he hurried to her, lifted her up, and protected her with his body.
The bride could have been stung by the scorpion if he hadn’t reacted so quickly.
Nobody knew where this fatal visitor had come from during the ceremony, so panic broke out in the hall. While the husband pulled his still-shaking bride close and whispered soothing words, the restaurant staff hurried to capture the scorpion.
Holding her closer, he continued, “Pardon me, I was so afraid for you.”
I’m grateful. She sobbed as she answered, “You saved my life.”
The guests initially viewed what transpired as a horror, but later saw it as a genuine miracle and the groom’s valiant deed.
