You fought so hard, Anise. I am so grateful you aren’t struggling any longer. Your life was painfully short, but you were loved every minute of it. I am so sorry I couldn’t save you.
Anise began fading yesterday, and by the time I was able to have him seen, it was too much to ask of him to keep fighting. I know this may be a bit of a shock to some of you, and I understand if you choose not to stick around to see these painful endings. This, however, is my journey, and I’ve decided that I will be showing all aspects of it. The good, the bad, and the ugly. For the love of God, people. Rest In Peace, sweet boy
The spice kittens are doing better today. Each one gained at least 5 grams today, which is a win in our book! They all weigh roughly between the weight of a size “D” battery and an adult Syrian hamster. @fostermotherofkittens said.
“Uhm, scuse me, milk lady, can I has some more milks please?”
Clove is NOT out of the woods yet. She still manages to aspirate while eating, even when being syringe fed. She hasn’t gained weight in days. She has poop on herself more often than not. The diarrhea is still pretty consistent. Her eyes are gooey and she HATES the eye drops.
With all of that being said, she is still FIGHTING. I refuse to give up on this little hot mess. Thank you all so much for your kind words and encouragement!!
If anyone is in the position to help, I’ve added a few items to the amazon wishlist to help keep Clove comfortable. PLEASE do not feel like you need to purchase anything for us. Your encouraging words are already more than enough. Thank you for cheering us on!! @fostermotherofkittens said.
This hungry hippo is up TWELVE GRAMS! Little Clove just weighed in at 171 grams after she ate a solid meal! @fostermotherofkittens said.
