Carlie came across a very overweight Chihuahua and knew she had to save him. The 18kg boy had been overfed by his owner, who had recently died. And now he needed someone to help him get his life back on track, writes pawmygosh.
Shorty was not only diagnosed as obese, but also as having hypothyroidism. His new mother immediately put him on a diet and started exercising him first, as it was easier on his joints. In the end, the dog lost 7 kilos and made many new friends!
