When the tourists saw the enormous elephant on the Chobe River in Botswana they wanted to come to get closer to him.
Su-An Marais could not help and started to shoot the elephant. Though he seemed very calm and was swimming very slowly the elephant surprised the tourists with his fierce behavior.
It was as if the elephant didn’t want them to come that closer as it was his territory. The elephant pushed the tourists’ boat back to the place from where it came. You can see how frightening the kind giants of our childhood can be in the video below.
We hope that after such incidents the tourists should keep some distance and don’t bother the wild animals anymore.
