This precious little brother sister duo was dropped off at NACC without a mother at just SIX days old! Kittens this young have no way of surviving without intervention. These little ones are currently eating kitten formula out of a 3ml syringe every two hours around the clock. As they grow they will be able to go longer between each feeding. It is so incredibly important that these babies be fed kitten formula, NOT just any milk in your fridge!! • @fostermotherofkittens said.

A little late night purr sesh with Cosmo 🥰 Volume up for cuteness overload. • @fostermotherofkittens said.

We had a few really great meals through the night!! These little babies are up to 126 grams this morning!! Little girls umbilical cord is still hanging in there, but I think we might be seeing some eyes peeking out in the next few days 🥰😭😻• @fostermotherofkittens said.

A lot of times, babies this young have a difficult time learning to drink from a normal kitten bottle. I am so glad that I was introduced to the “Miracle nipple” and syringe method by the one and only @kittenxlady. She truly is such an inspiration to me, and I couldn’t do any of this without her.
The feeling of relief when the babies start to really latch and suckle on their own is one of the best feelings in the world. Until then, you have to go so very slow. Just one drop at a time to get them used to it. It really takes more patience than I ever knew I had. • @fostermotherofkittens said.

Little boy Cosmo giving us a little wave, and Miss Aster showing off her full belly with umbilical cord still hanging on. They are named after fall flowers, and will be ready for forever homes just before Christmas. • @fostermotherofkittens said.

I was triple checking the snuggle safe to make sure it’s warm enough/not too warm, and Cosmo climbed onto my hand and fell asleep. So I guess I’ll just stand here until the next feeding 😂 • @fostermotherofkittens said.

Yesterday I was asked how I manage to get up every 2-3 hours through the night. I just pulled up this picture. A tiny little purrito with a full belly and a milk mustache. Knowing that they are counting on me is how I do it. • @fostermotherofkittens said.

Cosmo is getting so fluffy. Weighing in at 165 grams, today. 😍 @fostermotherofkittens said.

Aster is starting to be much more excited to eat, which makes me so happy. Such a sweet little muffin. 160 grams today ☺️😍 @fostermotherofkittens said.

Monday’s are tough. Just in case you were having a bad day, here’s a tiny kitten yawn 😍😍 @fostermotherofkittens said.

The best thing for these little babies is obviously to have mama cat to feed them. When that isn’t an option, we step in. Nothing a little Kitten Milk Replacer, a syringe, and a miracle nipple can’t handle. Cosmo has caught on to suckling so well. I’m such a proud foster mama. • @fostermotherofkittens said.

I feel like if I get a kitten yawning on camera, it would be criminal not to share with the world. If you look closely, you’ll see Asters eyes are starting to open. ☺️🥰 @fostermotherofkittens said.
