It’s been a while since I’ve done this, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. Rocky and Spencer were great buddies, according to their owner Beth Fisher.
They collaborated on everything. The two shared a bed and ate from the same dish. They couldn’t have been separated at all. Fisher claimed to The Dodo that they never separated for the night.
The family was devastated to learn from their vet that Rocky had acquired a malignant, rapidly expanding tumor.
Treatment was no longer possible at that point. Unfortunately, the only choice is to put Rocky to sleep so he won’t have to endure pain. For the family, and especially for Spencer, it was a depressing day.
