Can dogs even dance?

Dogs are smarter than you think. Even though they couldn’t exactly learn how to speak human speech, they are impressive at reading cues and expressions. Furthermore, they can easily be trained to do something; hence, the rise of dog professions all around the world.

Musical canine freestyle, or simply dog dance, is becoming all the rage. This has become a sport in which handlers teach dogs countless tricks and difficult routines, which then equates to dance.

It was their first time performing this special routine after training hard for years. A song from the animated movie The Last Unicorn played on the speakers while they were meters away from each other.

Lizzy was greatly observing her partner’s movements from behind. When Sandra raised her arms, Lizzy also raised hers. Only a few seconds was all it took to get the audience completely become glued to their performance.

Lizzy’s graceful performance really moved everyone in the crowd.

With Sandra’s guidance, Lizzy was able to move according to their routine. Whether it was to raise paws, run backward, or jump over her partner, Lizzy could do it with grace. It is also quite a spectacle how Lizzy would add her own flair into the dance.

You’d be continuously impressed by this duo the longer you watch them dance. However, as all good things come to an end, their magnificent performance did with loud cheers filling the stadium.

The clip went viral on YouTube with over 10 million views.

Sandra decided to share this clip on the internet and surprisingly went viral. The online viewers appreciated their wonderful performance by sharing their kind comments towards them. One of them wrote:

“This is one of the most amazing things I have seen. This dog dances with such grace and beauty that I cried. The steps, the poise, the dedication to its human/dance partner… It is so lovely to watch. This little creature has touched my heart.”

Their performance was the product of their years of hard work together.

Sandra was a trained ballet and jazz dancer and had accumulated more than 20 years of experience. She decided to try dog dancing with her dogs and worked very hard to make it happen. They started training since Lizzy was young. Although, they have encountered countless difficulties, that didn’t stop them from training.

Their persistence proved their worth in the end, with Lizzy and Sandra becoming more closer dance partners than ever. Until now, Lizzy continues to move her paws to dance together with her beloved partner.
