Shy man who can hardly say his name steps onstage, shocks everyone in the room with his voice

On X-Factor UK, Christopher Maloney finally performs in front of an audience after years of being too afraid to do so. Everyone went berserk when he sang Bette Midler’s “The Rose.”

Being able to control your emotions is crucial for performing artists in order to connect with the audience and, well, not screw anything up. That’s easier said than done, though.
Stage fright is a genuine thing, and it’s normal to feel apprehensive and nervous before giving a performance in front of a large crowd, especially if you’ve never been on stage before.

The man in the video below is an expert on what it means to push yourself beyond your comfort zone and confront your anxieties in order to achieve your goals. Christopher Maloney was incredibly anxious and stressed when he entered the audition room for The X Factor UK since he was on a global platform in front of the judges and everyone else in the audience. And it manifested.

Because he was drenched in perspiration and scarcely able to speak, the judges were concerned that he wouldn’t be able to perform. But as soon as he began to sing, all their concerns vanished.
The man was able to keep his emotions in check and use his beautiful voice to enchant the crowd.
