These two feline sisters are aware of their ability to rely on one another in trying times.
Two bonded kittens named Caramel (or “Cara”) and Cookies and Cream (or “CC”) have been through a lot together.
When they were infants, they were abandoned in a parking lot with four of their siblings. Fortunately, a bystander found them and alerted Sparkle Cat Rescue, who took them in.
The rescue group intervened right away and saved the abandoned kittens, but CC and Cara’s struggles had just begun.
Rescue volunteer Sarah Kelly agreed to care for the kittens until they were old enough to be adopted.
Kelly did her best to ensure the kittens had the love, protection, and growth in strength, self-assurance, and happiness that they required.
While the siblings all got along well, it was obvious that CC and Cara had a particularly close relationship.
Love Meow claimed that they were “never very far away from each other.”
The two sisters were so incredibly devoted to one another that they were practically glued together.
Holding on to each other helped them get through their frightening and perplexing early years, and now their relationship was unbreakable.
Kelly understood that she would be unable to keep them apart and that they would need to find a forever home that would accept them both.
Unfortunately, because so many people are hesitant to adopt more than one cat at a time, it is more difficult for bonded pairs to find new homes.
In addition, CC and Cara’s siblings quickly found their ideal homes when the kittens were old and strong enough to be adopted, leaving CC and Cara behind.
Months, weeks, and days went by with no change.
Although CC and Cara cherished their foster home, they yearned to find the ideal family with whom they could spend the rest of their lives.
Even though it was painful to watch the younger kittens come and go as they grew older and became teenagers, they could always find solace in one another.
They enjoyed sharing sweet little kisses and cuddling up next to one another because they were certain that as long as they were together, they would always find a way to be content.
The rescue team made every effort to place the girls in a loving home. They frequently praised them in posts on social media, but for some reason, nobody seemed to want the two sisters.
Up until the day when everything came into focus.
