For his blind wife to be able to smell, husband spends years cultivating hundreds of her favorite flowers.

I adore you.

A little number of words with a big impact.

Although it may be abused, it is far more challenging to disprove it.

With this narrative, that is not the case.

Mr. and Mrs. Kuroki have been wed since 1956 and reside in Shintomi, Japan.
They had two children and were content to live together on his dairy farm.

After 30 years of marriage, the pair intended to retire and spend time exploring Japan.

But as Mrs. Kuroki started to lose her battle with the effects of her diabetes, their plans were placed on indefinite pause.

At the age of 52, she began to lose her eyesight and a week later was completely blind.
The dreams that Mrs. Kuroki and her husband formerly shared were no longer visible to her even though she had lost her vision.

Mrs. Kuroki was depressed and spent all of her time alone at their house.

The sight of his wife in such a situation was intolerable for Mr. Kuroki.

He wasn’t sure what he could do to cheer her up but wanted to.

Mr. Kuroki saw over time that visitors would pause and appreciate their little flower garden, which was filled with pink shibazakura blooms.
They were stunningly gorgeous and brilliant.Mr. Kuroki discovered over his lengthy marriage that his wife adored flowers.

Kuroki had a thought.

If his wife wasn’t able to visit different parts of Japan, he would bring Japan to her.
Soon after, he started to plant more and more flowers. The dairy farm had begun to resemble a flower farm after two years.

His plans to entice his wife out of the house actually came true.

She could feel and smell the blossoms even if she couldn’t see them. She was delighted by this.
She was able to converse with the several guests that stopped by to gaze at their garden.

Mrs. Kuroki soon left the constraints of the house and returned to the outside world.

Her grin reappeared, making her spouse smile.

Gardening is difficult job. Making one is more difficult.

As the garden grew, Mr. Kuroki had to clear his land and cut down trees to make more room.
I’m not sure whether “determined” is even the right word to describe this level of commitment and devotion.

After ten years of this confession of love, the farm has become a popular tourist destination.

The Kurokis might expect up to 7,000 people on a spring day.
Mr. Kuroki probably never in his wildest thoughts dreamed that his flowers would draw such a gathering!

A little museum illustrating their love story has been established in the shed where they formerly housed their 60 cows.
The origins of the garden and the lovely purpose behind it are visible to visitors.

Even though Mr. and Mrs. Kuroki’s farm has a special and private history unmatched by any other, Japan is famous for its stunning cherry blossoms that bloom every spring.

Although they may not be the cherry blossoms that most people are accustomed to seeing, their petals have a touching tale to tell.

There isn’t any story to go along with the breathtaking scenery, but it isn’t necessary.

Since actions speak louder than words, Mr. Kuroki has already demonstrated his devotion for his wife to the world.
