Dogs are amazing animals. They are as smart and sharp-witted as they are emotionally intelligent and affectionate.
They also seem to be able to tell, maybe by the signs they receive from unusual behavior, when their owner or their animal friends are not feeling well.

One day, 11-year-old Sef, a Belgian Malinois, started not feeling well. As the Reddit user shared in a comment, the dog suffered from a “huge nerve sheath tumor under his right shoulder that had completely paralyzed that leg and was slowing him down”.
As he explained, Sef had to be carried up and down the stairs and practically anywhere because he had a hard time moving. It seems that for the last five months the dog would have a certain spot on the couch where he would spend most of the time.
Eventually, it was decided to put Sef down since that would be the best for him. Nobody wanted him to suffer any longer.
And, while it is usually pet owners the ones who take the animals to the vet to be put to sleep, in this case, the vet was kind enough to go to their house in order to give the family — both the human and the canine one — the chance to be with Sef when he left.
“You know you have a good boy when your vet doesn’t normally do at-home euthanasia, but she volunteers to come out and do it for Sef,” Rawtashk wrote in his post.
When the day came, it seemed that the two other dogs in the house just knew that their friend would soon be gone. So, they decided to say goodbye to their friend in their own special way.
