Dog melts 1.8 million hearts with sweetest apology for crime

You probably know by now that Golden Retrievers are one of the sweetest dog breeds around.

The seemingly innocent dog even shoots his mom the classic “I didn’t do it” look right when the camera focuses on his sweet face.

He definitely knows how to act when he’s about to get a scolding!

Apparently, this mischievous dog and his sibling were each given a “chewy”. And this naughty dog seemed to have gotten his sibling’s chew toy, too.

So their mom decided he needed a bit of a talking to.

She starts by asking him,

“Do you understand when I’m talking to you?”

He responds with another irresistible face that will make you think he really did reply affirmatively.

His mom continues by recounting what happened – how she gave each of them a “chewy”, and how he had taken his sibling’s.

Now comes the adorable part.

She then gently asks the innocent looking dog what the right thing to say is when you take another dog’s chew toy.

The lovable Golden Retriever answers by slowly resting his head on top of his sibling’s, and lifting his paws to give the other Golden Retriever a hug.

Whether he’s apologizing in hopes of getting another “chewy” or to simply be obedient, there’s no denying that this Golden Retriever knows how to charm the socks off everyone.

His sibling, looking cute as ever, just sat there calmly and quietly while his brother hugged him.

Apology accepted, of course!

Clearly, this was a proud and heartwarming moment for their mom because she immediately expressed her approval, which we’re guessing was also followed by lots of affection.

Viewers were so delighted that they couldn’t help but express their glee with a mix of sweet and hilarious comments.

It’s not everyday you get to see dogs who know how to apologize for misbehavior.
