Bobcat climbs a 40 foot high cactus in the Arizona Desert, to escape a mountain lion

Once in the Titan Saguaro Cactus in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert a bobcat climbed up to a 40-foot plant.

This place is known for its secular plants. There are cactuses older than 300 years. The spikes of these plants can reach up to 2 inches but this bobcat didn’t think about these conditions.

Fortunately,  the scene was captured by a 69 years old photographer, Curt Fonger. The bobcat was chased by a mountain lion and finally climbed up to one of the cactuses to be safe and sound. Of course, this safe and sound is a bit relative, however, at that moment there couldn’t have been a place better than that cactus.
